How to use this calculator

3. The result shows the total number of full days remaining from today.

Counting days manually

To count the days manually:

1. Find today's day number in the year (e.g., February 1st is Day 32).
2. Find the target date's day number.
3. Subtract today's number from the target number.
4. If the target date is in the next year, add the remaining days of this year to the days of the next year.

For example, if today is September 1st and you want to know days until September 9th:
9 - 1 = 8 days (excluding today and including target, or vice versa depending on how you count "until"). Our calculator gives the full 24-hour periods remaining.
