Typical Usage Amounts

While everyone applies makeup differently, here are some typical averages used by this calculator:

• Mascara: ~0.05 ml per application (both eyes).
• Foundation: ~0.5 ml to 1.0 ml (1-2 pumps) per face.
• Lipstick: ~0.005 g to 0.01 g per swipe.
• Face Cream: ~1.0 ml per application.

Expiration Dates (PAO)

Remember that even if a product can last 2 years based on volume, it might expire before then. Check the Period After Opening (PAO) symbol on the packaging (looks like an open jar with a number, e.g., "6M" for 6 months).
